Matthew Gove is a designer and gardener with over 20 years of field and design experience. He has worked as a head gardener on many rural estates and designed residential and commercial gardens of various sizes. He combines his love for the contemporary design movement of naturalistic gardens with appreciation for the natural spaces of the Niagara Escarpment.

A passion for design and artful gardens inspired Matt to go out on his own in 2010. Matthew Gove & Co. is a design and garden care company where naturalistic, purposeful plantings, celebrating the evolving seasons and surrounding landscapes, are at the heart of it all.

Over the last 14 years we’ve had the opportunity to design and build large-scale plantings on rural estates, commercial gardens and intimate urban spaces. The gardens we create are unique, personal, captivating and natural, cared for by our nurturing crew of horticultural technicians.
